WiE Workshop 3: Resume Writing

When writing a resume, it is important to consider what the resume reviewer will gain during the seconds it takes to scan your resume.  This one-hour workshop in our career toolkit series focuses on how your resume should be crafted to stand out. The tools presented in this session are in the context of many research studies addressing whether a woman should use her full name on her resume, what terms to use in your resume and how to craft it for each internship or job position to which you apply.

This multipart interactive series of workshops, provided by the Center for Women in Engineering, along with W. Scott Amey Career Services Center, and the GW Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is dedicated to demystifying the processes faced by women engineers and computer scientists as they search for an internship or a job after graduation.
