The Engineers Council
The Council is a SEAS student umbrella organization that represents the general engineering student body to the administration of SEAS and GW, encourages diversity and inclusion within SEAS, and provides ongoing leadership and professional development.
GW COMPASS
GW COMPASS is a professional networking organization that seeks to help GW graduate students in STEM prepare for life after graduation.
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
The purpose of NSBE is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE)
SASE's mission is to prepare Asian heritage scientists and engineers for success in the global business world; celebrate diversity on campuses and in the workplace; and provide opportunities for members to make contributions to their local communities.
SEAS Student Peer Advisory Network (SEASSPAN)
SEASSPAN is a student leadership organization comprised of carefully selected mentors who help incoming first year students transition to SEAS.
SEAS Under-graduate Ambassadors Program
The program is a student leadership opportunity for rising juniors and seniors, and it supports the development of the SEAS community through Ambassadors' participation in admissions events, community outreach activities, programming and peer mentoring.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
GW-SHPE empowers students, of all races and majors, to develop professionally and academically in addition to maintaining the social element of Latinx/Hispanic culture.
Society of Women Engineers
GW SWE is an organization developed to promote opportunities for women in engineering by means of professional development and outreach.
Women in Computer Science (WiCS)
WICS is a student organization run through the GW SEAS Department of Computer Science. WICS is open for all female GWU undergraduate and graduate students majoring, minoring or with interest in Computer Science.
